Avant de démarrer la rénovation du châssis, un petit test est réalisé sur une pièce de la direction de la Mercedes mini. Le métal de la pièce est tout d’abord poncé et complètement mis à nu, puis une couche d’anti-rouille est appliquée, enfin la couche finale en noir foncé satiné (RAL 9005).
Vor dem Beginn der Fahrgestellsanierung wird ein kleiner Test an einem Teil der Lenkung des Mercedes Mini durchgeführt. Das Metall des Teils wird zuerst geschliffen und vollständig freigelegt, dann wird eine Rostschutzschicht aufgetragen und schließlich die letzte Schicht in satiniertem Tiefschwarz (RAL 9005).
Before starting the chassis renovation, a small test is carried out on a part of the steering of the Mercedes mini. The metal of the part is first sanded and completely exposed, then a layer of anti-rust is applied, finally the final layer in satin dark black (RAL 9005).
